Jay Bartels, CEO, BTS LM Equipment Sales Gaylord, MN.

Jay started LM Equipment Sales in January of 2017.  LM Equipment Sales buys and sells used trucks and trailers nationally. He currently employs sales and mechanic staff. Jay graduated from Winthrop high school in 1987. After high school, he attended and graduated college at Southwest State in Marshall, MN with a degree in Ag Business Management. After college Jay was employed at J&R Schugel Trucking in New Ulm, MN as a customer service rep from 1994 to 1998. 

In 1998 Jay started in the Bartels Transportation Services freight broker division. He booked loads and found outside carriers. Jay grew the BTS Express division to the current 25 owner-operators. 

Jay is currently involved in the day to day operations of BTS Express and Bartels Truckline wherever he is needed.
